BARRY BUYS
Chief Executive Office
Barry has a strong financial background coming from the banking industry where he used to perform as a financial planner for 12 years. He then saw the opportunity of starting Zizwe General Services in 2003, an electrical construction company.
He built BBP Projects into one of the successful black-owned companies that started off with almost nothing. At Zizwe, Barry was the CEO driving the company strategy. Through this experience he managed to interact with various skilled project managers and electrical engineers and he worked very closely with them on the technical side. He has acquired knowledge and experience in the industry.
WINTON BUYS
Project Manager: Electrical
Winton has been with
BBP Projects for 5 years doing Project Management.
He has managed projects
for the TLB and City Power.
He is currently studying his Project Management with Rosebank College.
DAWN JANSEN
Financial Manager
Dawn has a strong financial and billing background coming from the IT and Events Management industry, where she used to perform various financial duties for over
12 years.
She has accomplished many awards over the years. She is results driven with excellent people and leadership skills.
A leader that strives for excellence and acute performance.
Dawn has more than 14 years experience in Project Management.
She is currently studying towards her Degree in Accounting at Mancosa.
BRENDA BUYS
New Business Development
Brenda Buys has a strong financial background, and also has experience in the area of operations and procurement.
She has worked in the electrical industry for over
12 years, but also has corporate experience.
She obtained two qualifications in Business management, which includes Project, Risk, Logistics and Procurement Management among others.
She is a result driven person, who has demonstrated excellent negotiation skills, and is a decisive individual.
OSCAR GONGA
Technical Manager
Oscar has more than
11 years experience in the electrical industry.
He has obtained Certificates
in Linesman 1 & 2, C-Green Rail/O.H.T.E and O.R.H.V.S.
He also specializes in Project Management and ensures that all BBP Projects’ goods and services are delivered within the required specifications, within budget and at the
right time.
He has a sound technical understanding of all BBP Projects and its operations.
